I slept in and just woke up, so here's what I've been able to figure out while sipping coffee:
- Twitter has officially rebranded to X just a day or two after the move was announced.
- The official branding is that a tweet is now called "an X", for which there are too many jokes to make.
- The official account is still @twitter because someone else owns @X and they didn't reclaim the username first.
- The logo is 𝕏 which is the Unicode character Unicode U+1D54F so the logo cannot be copyrighted and it is highly likely that it cannot be protected as a trademark.
- Outside the visual logo, the trademark for the use of the name "X" in social media is held by Meta/Facebook, while the trademark for "X" in finance/commerce is owned by Microsoft.
- The rebranding has been stopped in Japan as the term "X Japan" is trademarked by the band X JAPAN.
- Elon had workers taking down the "Twitter" name from the side of the building. He did not have any permits to do this. The building owner called the cops who stopped the crew midway through so the sign just says "er".
- He still plans to call his streaming and media hosting branch of the company as "Xvideo". Nobody tell him.
This man wants you to give him control over all of your financial information.

居場所
There is this word in Japanese. It is 居場所. Pronounced “ibasho”.
It is difficult to translate but most dictionaries translate it as “home”. And that is not wrong in general. But it is more than just like “my house”. There is not really a single word for it.
But rather than “home” it is more like… The place where I can always come back to. The place where I FEEL home. Where I can be as I am.
居場所 doesn’t have to be a location. It is more… a feeling.
Today I felt this again and I couldn’t come up with any other word for it.

A few days ago I went to Gazette’s tour final at Nippon Budokan. Which was pretty good! They played all of the songs of their latest album but also some of the older stuff like Hyena and Miseinen. I really enjoyed watching another show in Japan.
And I love Nippon Budokan.
It was my second time there. First time I saw Kiryu a few years ago.
The atmosphere is just.. so.. different.
And GazettE belong to one of my first bands I really got into. So.. seeing them live is very special for me. Also it seems like it was the first of their concerts were shouting was allowed again!

The next day I went to Royz’ oneman with my Japanese Royz friend I got to know at Subaru’s 2015-birthday live. I was there. Seeing them. And there was one thought that went through my mind:
Yes. It’s them. For now 13 years it has always been them. And it still is.
I still love them so so much.
Even though there are times when I feel like I am not into vk as much as I used to be… then I listen to Royz and I am like “Yeah no. Still like them.”
But when I SEE them. It is a completely different level. It’s like.. “Fuck yes. It’s them.” They just give me emotions no other band can give me.
The day after I went to two of their instores and thanks to my friend after a 2shot with Tomoya I could take two with my favorite Koudai. (It is random which member you get for a 2shot.) I am so thankful….
I mean.. in general it is not REALLY about a picture for me. It is more about the little talk you have. About the “yes, you do have fans overseas. Yes, there are people abroad that (still) love you.” They were so adorable.. I could talk a bit to all of the members.
And then today (//wait, I wrote this in the beginning of this week ûu””//) I went to see a session band of LUCHe./Smileberry’s Paru. Oh this boy is just so nice… The live was fun!! And I even decided to do 2shot afterwards. Who knows if I ever get the chance again. So I did and it was worth it.
Even though I went to this live actually only for Paru, a good friend joined me for the 2nd session band of that day for which Grimoires Rynk was vocalist.
And not long before the live started I realized that CLOWD’s Kou, R-Shitei’s Kaede, D=OUT’s Hikaru and Sick2′s Rosshi will also be joining those two session bands that evening. I liked all of them. What a wild ride. I didn’t know where to look during the lives.
Oh it was so worth going.
So… lives that are left are Arlequin and Royz so far… we will see if I will add anything to the schedule.
